ADIDAS x GUAP ORIGINALS CREATOR NETWORK
‘The Originals Creator Network’ is an educational programme for emerging young creatives in London co-created by adidas London and GUAP, a youth-led digital media platform GUAP, a creative network and agency with years of experience in nurturing young talent and building diverse, creative communities.
The 5-month initiative immerse participants in creative bi-weekly workshops and a final exhibition at Somerset House. Together, adidas and GUAP will facilitate a programme of activity that will aid the development of each participant and become a positive catalyst for the journey of the next generation of talent.
Hallowed Grounds
Hallowed Grounds explores sports heritage through a collection of individual artworks and physical artifacts. The project features sports cards, stickers, and posters. Memorabilia that archives contemporary sporting activities and hobbies, proving a window into the ways sports shape our lives and memories.
The exhibition emphasizes the significance of sports in our culture, showcasing how these artifacts and artworks preserve the stories and moments that define our engagement with sport and being active as a whole. From the personal connection of collecting artifacts, to the broader cultural impact of sports memorabilia, the space offers a contemporary perspective into the intersection of sports and art.

Growing up, my closest connection to sports was through anime - Slam Dunk, Blue Lock, Haikyuu!...These are my window into the world of sports and a part of me in the past and present.
In recent years, anime's popularity has soared globally, transcending cultural boundaries, and has even inspired some of today's world-class athletes.
